Planning for the future

Help change a student’s life and nominate them for a $25,000 scholarship

Sixteen incredible students have already received a $25,000 Bridging the Dream Scholarship—and now they’re one major step closer to their dreams.
Sallie Mae’s Bridging the Dream Scholarship Program is back for a fourth year and it’s an opportunity to help send a new group of deserving students to college.

We’re looking for nominations from counselors, like you. Your nominee could be a student that’s excelled in some way—in academics, athletics, the community, or school activities—but who you worry may come up financially short of fulfilling their dreams.

Visit to nominate your student as soon as possible.

The nominations close September 26th at 5pm,  so hurry!

Thank you for all you do to support your students. Let’s make college happen together!

Unfortunately, we understand that financial obstacles may hinder some students from seeking their Associate’s, Bachelor’s or even Master’s degree. Just as we are driven to help those who have been compromised in personal injury and car accidents, we understand that it is imperative to support our current generation of millennials who are pursuing a higher education. For this reason, we are pleased to grant this scholarship opportunity.
